2014-09-06 : Arette

location: Larceveau-Arros-Cibits, France

We made it to Arette!

(This is becoming a common refrain!)

70km, 6 double flesh climbs(11%), 2046m of climbing

The best part of the ride was coming down through a gorge with a fast flowing river as an escort.

The worst part of the climb was over 2000 cars and all-terrain vehicles converging on the hill for a completion!

I think we can say that today was the toughest 70km climb we have done .. But I did not have to pry Marion off her handle bars at the top like I did in Corsica!

All in all, we had a great ride and it was nice to do it with a good nights sleep!

Marion is writing up her log book and I wonder if we differ in the telling of this day! (She is certainly smiling now;)

We are in a very nice hotel tonight and tomorrow's ride is only 44km and only one climb .. Should be a piece of cake!

Cheers to all!
