Today is a 'smell the roses' day as the morning started with thunder and lightening followed by heavy rain. We slipped out for a capucino and croissant then back to reading our books.

I'm reading 'Love and Ruin' by Paula McLain .. about Hemingway, his 3rd wife and her struggles to be her own person as a war correspondent in the Spanish Civil war and later conflicts. It's quite interesting and very well written!

Rounding out the day, we went to the Contemporary Art Gallery and picked out a few pieces we liked .. but lighting was very dim so no pics of those!

A cruise ship has arrived ... So more tourist-watching at lunch!
