Well it was an amazing performance! We are so glad we made the effort to get the tickets!

Our seats were in a booth designed for 6 but fortunately we were only 4 and Marion was able to take a front row and see most of the stage when she stretched! I stood behind her!

The performance was superb and Rigoletto and Gilda were both excellent!

When the 3rd act started, the man of the other couple in the booth insisted I take his seat so I could see the end performance! It was so moving to watch Gilda take her last breaths saying farewell to her father Rigoletto with the music so expressive. A very dramatic ending!

And, yes, Marion dressed up for the performance and looked fabulous! Shoes and nylons purchased in Trapani and dress/scarf she packed in her panniers from Ottawa!
