Ok .. Today we are sending Pictures Marion has taken on her new iPod touch! And the theme is food and Harold.
We really enjoyed our stay in Siena but we were happy to leave and pleased we found a quiet (but steep!) way out onto quiet roads. The terrain has suddenly changed with large open valleys with fields turned and ready for the next planting. Lots of clay in the soil! We seemed to mostly be on roads along ridges today with great views!
Arriving in Pienza around 2pm we were blown away by the extraordinary views and interesting architecture and sculptures in the piazzas!
The B and B is very nice and we have a recommendation for dinner to night which sounds interesting!
