We woke up early this morning after a fabulous dinner at this most interesting hotel in Larino.
We pointed our bikes into the rising sun and after about an hour, the sun had strengthened enough to burn off the over night rain clouds and give us sunshine for the rest of the morning!
The route was perfect today! We knew what to do with a few small patches of mud as we wound our way through agricultural lands with a few small vineyards. At times we saw olive farmers tending to smoky fires burning off debris from under the trees.
Arriving at Lucero about 12:30 we found a friendly welcome at the Casa Hemingway and had a really good mid-day dinner of seafood pasta and salad.
The B&B we are in for the next 3 days is really nice and the ceiling mural was obviously chosen to keep our dreams sweet!
Our plan is to take a day or too off and see some sites .. and plan the last week of our trip!
