Pronounced 'she-clee' ...
We had some wonderful quiet country roads down to the coast from Noto this morning ..then a stop at a cafe on the beach .. then some meandering along another beach before picking up a quiet road climbing into Scicli .. but surprise! .. the last 10 switchbacks on the map are down into this valley town!
Lunch on the square was very quiet but then at 5pm the town filled with tour buses and the streets became alive!
This is a very nice town and we like our apartment here ...for 3 days!
Tomorrow we plan a ride up to Ragusa and Modica and then we celebrate another birthday!
