How much can 40km make in a weather forecast? Quite a bit as it turns out!

Under sunny skies we said good bye to Francesca at our B&B and headed north out of Gela. Turning left onto the SP83 gave us a tailwind and most interesting views of the changing landscape! To cap it off, we rode the fine divide between rain to the west and sunshine to the east!

We soon spotted Licata in the distance sparkling in the sunshine .. probably because of an earlier rain storm! On short order we were knocking at the door of our B&B with light rain and thunder in the air!

Very friendly people here! We are relaxing, after some cleanup, listening to the rain and thunder.

Two nights here as rain tomorrow. This is very unusual weather we are told. Looks like Saturday will provide us with a good stretch of sunny weather!
