Hi all,

Sunny day after some rain over night making the cobble stones black and shiney! We immediately found some churches, tried not to take too many pictures .. but had to take Bellini's tomb in the Cathedral!

After a cafe decafinato, we found the Teatro Bellini (Opera house) -  quite similar to Palermo! Very good tour.

Bellini was born in Catania and one of his Operas is called Norma .. which is also what you call one of the popular pasta dishes in Sicily. There is some connect between the two which I did not quite follow!

After a fabulous salad lunch, we took a tour of the Monestary which is now a university. Very good tour!

Packed up the bikes this afternoon ready for the flight to Barcelona Thursday!
