Today's route was rolling hills partly on back roads with a bit of gravel. Busy on the Trans Canada (with a shoulder) before we got in to Baddeck and some quiet roads cutting over to the official Cabot Trail road.
Rain was off and on all day ending in humid air with spitting rain on the backroad into Margaree Harbour which was great!
Poor Carman had his heart set on a coffee at The Dancing Goat bakery .. but it was packed full of people and lined up out the door!
Our route was 84km 850m ascent. Tomorrow is a short day but lots of climbing : 65km 1200m! I think sun tomorrow .. no?
We have a car with us for luggage and support. Harold was on shuttle stopping for short rides and route support.Tomorrow Doug is driving and planning our coffee stop - hoping for better success!
Cheers,
Harold, Marion,Doug, Shirley, Lorraine and Carman!
