Yes the coffee was great at the Cafe Cyclists and we even picked up chain lube, a few jerseys and cycling shorts!
Then it was off on a 'meander' through the orange groves before heading inland to the climb up to Font Salada .. surprise! It wasn't a climb but a flat ride in to a Roman bath! .. for lunch!
We finished the day with a tour of the small town of Pego before the only climb of the day to Sagra then down down through more orange groves and at least one tricky stream fording that almost ended in disaster! Next time we'll take the detour as the ford was covered in moss that was very slippery and one of us went down! No injuries so we learned our lesson in these warmer climes!
Tomorrow we join up with our Brit friends and a final ride with Peter before he heads home.
