It rained, then it rained .. then it stopped! So we went out ... and lots of puddles to avoid as we headed to Ondara and on to Saint Rafol through the orange fields. The climb at St. R looked the clearest .. and it was! As we started to climb the steeper grades were the driest we'd seen all day .. thank-you gravity!

Over the top into the next valley with clearer weather. Of course we had to press our luck and stop for lunch! Carman's dessert was apparently divine. 

Some threatening cloud rolled in so straight back to Denia.
