The weather has changed. This means: "If you see the tops of Montgo when you get up, it will be a great day!"
The Riu Girona has finally swelled in response to 2 weeks of rain and all the fords are now impassible by bicycle in the orange groves. So our route to Sagra and Pego (and in to Forna) had to be altered to go through Beniarbeig.
Once across the river, the CV-729 all the way to Sagra was a slow ascent before the final climb and down to Pego. It was a great road and we really enjoyed it! The chocolate croissant in Pego was great too!
Mostly a memory day so I added two pics from Col de Sa Creueta. Finally some rain at 5pm today!
Cheers
