The pictures say it all today. Coffee and something close to a "pain raisin" (Oliva), lots of cloud and threatening rain, dark clouds looking up the road suggesting a U-turn shy of Gandia, exotic sculptures celebrating the arrival of spring (to be set on fire Saturday!) and a final push up the Col de Sorell from the Pego side before finally eating that sandwich in St Rafol.

Yes, we are still trying to figure out this 'Festival of Fallas'. There must be a dozen of these sculptures in Denia blocking traffic. Lots of firecrackers going bang at night all week. We can't imagine these sculptures going up in flames Saturday night!
