It's March ... so where do you want to be? Well snow is nice but sunny days cycling in Spain is hard to beat!

.. so we packed the bikes and here we are back in Denia, Spain!

We arrived Tuesday on a sunny day with a high of 11C! Carman's bag arrived  Wednesday with sun and cloud and high of 12C. Temperatures are about 10C lower than normal but next week looks promising with mid 20s!

Today we selected one of our favorite rides to Lliber (a warm-up climb) then a tour around the valley Xalo, Parcent, Orba, Sagra, El Rafol (2nd climb), across the fields to the coast (Del Mar) and home on our favourite backroads to Denia. Wind was a strong NW 15km/hr gusting to 36 with mostly sunny skies and a high of 13C!

Tomorrow we cycle with our UK friends Gerry and Neil!

I don't know yet if I'll do a blog everyday on this trip .. I'll let the camera decide!

After Carman goes home, Marion and I take off on a 12 day cycle tour (panniers)  starting from Denia and heading north into some interesting valleys and towns mostly in-land. We are looking forward to this!
