At 115km it was a rather long day! Up the coast to Oliva and then Gandia before meandering through small roads to Simat.

Beautiful Abbey in Simat (Santa Maria) and nice town for lunch before the climb. That's 9 switchbacks up to the lookout at 339m and then a slow finish up to Barx at 380m.. also a nice town.

Down into a headwind and back home for a beer and time to watch stage 2 of the Volta Cyclista da Catalunya! I fell asleep for the last 3 km .. thank God for replays!

A pretty hazy day so coast line shots are not to clear.
