Today we decided we wanted to go back up this valley from the Orba/Tormos turn off. (reverse of Fleix route we did a month ago) The objective was to spin the legs and find the low gears to enjoy the climb .. rather than race up it!

The climb to the restaurant at the top is 10km with an average grade of 6.6% with the last 2km on a narrow road and average of 10%!

We made it as far as Benimaurell stopping at a very nice cemetery for some great views! Another time we'll do the last 2km (200m).

The climb and views were fabulous. The descent to Murla and the roads through Parcent and on to Pedreguer and home also great. 

Salmon and rice for dinner .. after a beer!

Marion has a new jersey to model .. tomorrow I'm told!
