Two steep climbs into Helletta then up and down with one wrong turn (3km) which Marion did not take lightly and we arrived 84km later. Tomorrow we do our first col. ..
.. But first let me tell you a bit about last night's dinner .. Very tough and red beuf which the chef was very proud of .. Reminded us of Hotel Official on another trip with Ric and Joan! .. But quantities less and not blue. Room was fine .. and by 8am they started up the 'thermal' engine for the 'baths' and everyone came to breakfast in their bathrobes! Many seemed to be here for the therapeutic treatment as they talked a lot about what this was good for and that ..
Roads pretty good today .. A little busy at times and the humidity was oppressive. We are hoping things moderate a bit in the days to come!
Tomorrow we climb to 1350m and then descend after 28km and remain relatively flat til Arett.
