We are really enjoying our stay in this little town.
We did a nice ride up to some cols today (1249m) and saw lots of cows crowding the summit! We managed to get in our pic at the summit and then a café at the Auberge at the top and then a cold descent down to the 2nd col at 940m. We turned around and climbed back up and returned to town. To make this route into a loop would have given us some really big climbs up to 1450m and the weather report did not look good for a late return. Good decision as it rained soon after our return to town!
Tomorrow Doug leaves us to pick up Judy at the airport and we will meet them again in Montpelier in about a week.
Marion and I will probably move on to Ax les Thermes tomorrow. I think weather looks good tomorrow and the route very interesting!
