Marion and I had a nice relaxing day in Sault. We got up late, had coffee, went for a walk, bought a bottle of rose and sat in our garden and had lunch (cheese, sausage and bread). After a lazy afternoon reading, we went to a concert next door at the church. (Did we tell you about the bells that ring every 30 minutes through the night?)
The concert was Mozart and then Durante and the performers were local ... A small choir, orchestra of about 10 and 3 soloist singers. The Mozart piece was Sacramento KV 125 and the Durante (Italian) was based on 5 poems lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem (600BC?).
I've attached the program if you are interested!
Might rain over night and into tomorrow morning so we will plan a short after noon ride ..
