Hi all,

We are having mixed weather here with day time temps of around 14C.

Yesterday we headed off in pretty good weather to do Col St. Bernard but as we got within 8km of top the rain and mist blew in so we stopped at a café, warmed up and then 3 of us decided to head back down .. Doug and Charles pushed on and reached the summit crossing over to Italy .. 4C at top.

This morning we headed off first thing to the Intersport and Marion bought some warmer clothes .. which put a big smile on her face for the rest of the day! We then did a lovely ride around the valley with some great views . and no rain although it was misty up high! We hit elevations of 1300m on both sides of the valley.

Today's numbers: 70km 1628m ascent
Yesterday: 61km 1250m

Tomorrow looks wet but we need a day off .. Friday looks good but cool!

Off to check out the local restaurant tonight .. should be interesting ..
