Today Marion decided to have a birthday .. so we pulled a birthday ride out of the hat!
It was a great ride to Chalabre .. First up to Bellegarde then down into a valley and up to the beautiful community of Corbieres along ridge roads before descending down to the roads that wrap around Chalabre from the West. After a brief stop in Chalabre for a hot chocolate, we headed up the Col de Festes on the D121 followed by a 20km descent into Limoux on a smooth winding road.
All day the roads were smooth and quiet! Great views of the Pyrenees too! This one ride was worth the stop in Limoux .. and Marion had a great day!
