2019-09-14 : Dash to the Rhone

This was our last day here in Romans sur l'Isere and we wanted to make it an easy ride. Our objective was 0m of ascent! If Judith and Bill can do it, surely we can!

So we set a restaurant as our target for lunch .. and decided to coast down hill along the l'Isere to the Rhone, eat and come back.

The bike path was smooth and easy to follow and we made it down to La Roche de Glun in no time! After coffee we decided to cycle over to Pont  de l'Isere and look for a restaurant! We found one! They put our bikes away in a special room and we sat down for a 3 course meal!

As we left the restaurant, I noticed we had ascended 140m!!! How did that happen?

By the time we got back to Romans Sur l'Isere we had cycled a total of 54km and ascent of 240m!

It's not easy to cycle 0m of ascent .. we'll have to ask for assistance!

Cheers!

PS .. the beach pic is for you Doug!
