We had a very nice Chambre d'Hote in Les Laumes last night. It would be a great base for day rides and easy to get to on the Bourgogne Canal paths.

Yes, we are seeing alot of bicycle paths  along the canals and many of them have had new surfaces so smooth riding for road bikes!

It was cold with drizzle this morning so we took the train to Beaune. We have a very nice and comfortable apartment on the edge of the old town. We'll do some of our own cooking which will be nice.

We are 5 days here and we hope to get a few days of riding into the country side if the weather cooperates!
