Today we arrived in Rome by train.

My this is a busy place after all those quiet towns we have been cycling through!

We had an easy ride to Orte this morning and no issues with the train. It was a bit of a hike from the station to our B&B but it also gave us a feel for the place! We have tickets booked for the Vatican museums tomorrow and the Berghese Thursday.

After settling in to our B&B (quiet area which is good) we took a walk around and were amazed at the number of people in Vatican square. We have decided we will get up early Thursday and see if we can see St. Peters Basilica when it first opens at 7am and avoid some crowds ..

Our cycling tour is over sadly and some how we will survive the next four days before flying home Saturday!
