We are starting to wind down here and get ready for our trip across to the east cost .. Monte San Giusto! Tomorrow is looking like 100% chance of rain every hour of the day so we think we will be able to get a taxi van to transport us to Orbieto .. check out a military cemetery that Tom is interested in and then take trains Saturday to Monte San Giusto.
Yesterday we road to Montalcino and back .. It was a fabulous day with winding descents on smooth roads .. 80km 1800m ascent .. caught just a little bit of rain at the end .. waited it out while I fixed a flat!
Scenery here from our Villa is spectacular and we are enjoying a swim at the end of our cycle in the pool most days .. although the water is a bit chilly!
