Drizzle and cool to start the day .. so we walked into town for a coffee and a blueberry scone at the Black Cat .. just opened for take-out!
By 11am we were on our bikes heading east to Grafton to pick up the Shelter Valley road - a great road meandering up a quiet valley.
This took us to Castleton and lunch at the General Store. After lunch it was a head wind to Centreton on smooth road before plunging south in search of Boomerang Rd and the lovely Grills Road - through a valley with the most beautiful farms!
A great day despite the cool start and wet forecast!
