Coffee, breakfast and a meander up HW#11 to Staunton was our easy start to Easter Saturday! No Easter eggs but a few bills to pay from The Black Dog Bicycle Store! ... and then we started our ride heading south out of town on quiet roads!
A head wind .. cold with gusts to 25km is my guess! But then the sun would come out and the promise of the return tailwind warmed our hearts!
Lunch in the pleasant village of Mount McKinley on the steps of this beautiful church! Then a few down hills and a hard left and we had a beautiful tailwind all the way home! The highlight has to be this tailwind and smooth Millbrook Rd (same hwy as Brownsburg Rd in Lexington!).
It was a big sky day!
Tonight we are seeing "A Winter's Tail" at the Shakespearean Playhouse beside our hotel! I hope we don't fall asleep!
