No rain today is the big news!

Well, OK .. there was lots of cloud .. but we found evidence of SUN on the beach in Calpe .. and it seemed warm as we had lunch with our feet firmly planted on the sand.

Today's route took us south to Xabia and then down to Puerto de Moraira and the small cafe by the sea that Peter, Gerry and Neil introduced us to in 2020. Then it was a roller coaster with a bit of a tailwind as we dance with the friendly car traffic along the coast to Calpe. After 'beach lunch', we backtracked to the CV-734 and climbed north eventually parachuting down to Teulada (with a headwind!) and on to the lower slopes of Montgo, Jesus Pobre and then home - all on mostly quiet roads!

83km 1100m climbing making it a big day!

Dinner out this evening to celebrate a birthday! ( We established a new rule .. every 4 days we invent a birth date and celebrate it. Tonight was Carman's date!)
