Hi All,

Tuesday Doug, Shirley, Marion and I flew to Valencia Spain with Airfrance from Ottawa. It was so nice not having to go through Montreal! By noon the next day we were in Valencia on our transfer to Julia's condo in Denia. The sun was shining and temperatures mid-teens. No snow. No rain. No clouds. Just this incredible feeling that all was right in this corner of the world!

It was a long travel day but the first reward was today's 60km ride up the coast to Olivia for a coffee and some beach time.

It felt great to get on the bikes and feel the sun on our backs. In can report that assembly of our bikes yesterday went well! (Tomorrow is usually when the parts start falling off .. but NO, I'm sure I did it right this year!)

Gerry and Neil joined us on our first ride. They have been renting a unit a few doors down .. but unfortunately they will be leaving us in a few days to travel back to the UK.

As you know, I do this blog when pictures inspire me and try to keep the dialogue short and possibly interesting!
