This was suppose to be MW5 to Les Fontilles .. from the Brit collection we picked up 3 years ago. It was close .. 

Lliber Valley from Denia was gorgeous as always. Almond trees have been late this year and we saw some full blooms!

After coffee in Xalo we followed the route up from Parcent then cross-country (ford) to Murla to the base of the easy climb up to Les Fontilles.

Alas halfway up we were turned away from a very unfriendly "do not enter" sign.

Plan B was cycle to Port de Murla and look over the edge to Orba. We were just 1.8km from Orba by steep descent on a hiking path!

No "hike-a-bike" today .. so we did a U-TURN and took the fast descent to Orba, then El Rafol climb up and over and home for a beer in Denia!

Great day .. and now we see our navigation error and can give it another try ..  soon!
