Easy train ride to Grenoble from Saint Jean de Maurienne. Grenoble seems like a nice city and when we arrived at the train station it was an easy walk to Place Victor Hugo where we sat at a patio on the square infron tof our hotel and had a very nice salad and rose wine. The wind gusted and sun came in and out making us glad we had our jackets on!

Our hotel room looks over the square and the neighbourhood is full of pedestrian malls and restaurants. Dinner should I it be a problem.

Tomorrow we will checkout the museums and plan our next cycling leg.
