We really enjoyed the Muse de Beaux arts here .. Many lesser known Italian, Dutch and French master paintings .. Plus some interesting impressionist works .. And in the basement there was this fabulous Daum glass museum .. famous crystal glass makers from Nancy.
Today we took our bikes on a tour to the east of Nancy and found some nice rolling hills through deserted towns with a final return along a canal path back into Nancy from the south. 52km maybe 450m ascent?
Tomorrow we get up early to catch an 8:20am train to Thaon les Vogues which is just west of Epinal where we can rejoin our planned route. It will be 74km to Ormoy .. just south west of Vauvillers (as noted in our route plan Mom!) where we are booked at a chamber d'hote .. with dinner!
