Hi All,

We arrived Lyon airport on time (11:30am) and had no trouble getting a taxi van to take the three of us to the hotel in Bourgoin-Jallieu!

We spent the afternoon assembling our bikes and stuffed the boxes into the Cabin du Bois which also contains a motorcycle! The hotel seems very accommodating!

The bikes sat there assembled for a few minutes .. and then we decided we had to do something or fall asleep! Fortunately we had 2 planned routes into the hills south of here ready to go .. so off we went!

500m 31km with a visit to a Chateau!

Dinner in a few minutes .. then we will sleep! It always helps to adjust to the time zone by doing some cycling and eating in local tempo!
