Yes we crossed the Rhone today and cycled along parts of the canal .. but then we headed inland to pick up the Route de Fay taking us to Peyrieu and on to Belley on quiet roads. We had a few steep climbs today but not too long and our legs, gears are working fine!
We arrived 1:30 in Belley and sat down in time for a very nice salad avec biere!
Checked in to "Sweet Home" at 3pm and nice conversation with Inn keeper who wanted to know what routes we took.
