2019-09-24 : Flowers in Sancerre

Hi All,

It's been wet and misty all day but the wine pickers have been out in the fields picking the steep slopes and running machines through the less steep.

We went to the Maison des Sancerre  this morning which is a museum focused on the history and process of making wine in the region. The white is from the sauvignon vine and the red is from the Pinot Noir vine.

Dinner last night for the birthday boy was great! We both had the scallops in a white wine sauce with a white Pouilly Fume which was excellent! (We cycled through Pouilly yesterday).

The best part of the museum today was the flower garden! Marion's pics are great!

From a wet Sancerre, Cheers!
