By noon the temperature had risen and the rest of the day promised to be rain-free!

Before we knew it, the sun was out and the road we were riding on was basking in  it's golden rays! We were on "La Voie des Vignes" meandering through vineyards and small villages : Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay! All famous wines of the region.

At Santenay the clouds got heavy and started their descent - so we high-tailed it back to Beaune! 50km 450m .. double Sunday's ride!

Tomorrow looks even better weather so we have an idea for a ride ... Stay tuned!
