65km 300m .. it was an easy day through lots of small towns and meandering roads! A route that would be difficult to craft and follow without a GPS! Luckily all the small roads turned out to be paved!

We went through Simandre with heavy cloud and damp roads, La Frette with a glimpse of sun, Mentreuil with lunch by the brick church and finally Romenay where the GPS crashed! No worries as we floated through farm country on tiny paved roads to pop over the Saone at Port d'Uchizy and home on La Voie Bleue (bicycle route beside the Saone). GPS rebooted!

Oh, and the sun came out for a beer in town!
