2019-10-14 : Bourgoin Jallieu

Today was transportation by train! All went well! The 2nd train was a roll-on and roll-off .. no lifting!

We arrived at our hotel just after noon and had a warm welcome  from the Logis. After a celebratory beer, we packed our bicycles into the boxes we had left here in August and arranged for tomorrow's taxi to the airport!

Dinner at the Logis was very good! A big crowd in the restaurant so they are doing well!

Pictures are of Marion's cold soup made from zucchini with goat's cheese and Harold's rabbit Pate with chutney. The main dish was a leg of chicken in a traditional (local) vinaigrette sauce for both of us. (We forgot to take a picture!) Dessert was 90% Chantilly with slices of fruit. Unbelievably light!

Our flight is 1pm tomorrow and so this is our last blog!
