Yesterday was a rain day so we stayed a extra night in Vertella and explored the town, had a very nice lunch, caught up on some sleep, went out to Babba's for excellent pizza and tried to learn a few more Italian phrases!

Today we decided to go directly to Orbetella but unfortunately you can not go direct so we climbed up to Mansiano on very quiet roads and turned west towards the sea and after 128km we made it! Had a beer and lots of water in a square and watched the locals before looking up our B&B. It is really funky and very nice. We will stay two nights so we can explore the island Monte Argentario tomorrow!

In case you were wondering, we had an excellent day on quiet roads!
