Hi All,

It almost felt cool this morning as we sat with our coffees on the porch of this nice Inn in Montgomery Center. It did not last though as once again the heat and humidity caught up with us on our ride out of town towards Eden.

Today we were a group of 7 and we had alot of fun! Lots of up and down as we worked our way North-east of Jay Peak and then finally started the ascent from the Eastern side.

The pitches do not seem to get any easier as we compare our ascent to years gone by! Marion and I first did this climb 35 years ago when we first met on a bicycle tour down here!

Finally we peaked and everyone was very happy and excited about the prospect of a 10km down hill into Montgomery Center! Road surface was really good  ... it was a fabulous!
