We are just finishing three days with our friends from Ottawa (Ray and Jill). We had a very nice visit and rode today after the rain passed through. They rented an apartment that we had rented last year and Marion and I stayed in a local hotel .. and we did our dinners together.
Tomorrow we are driving up to Front Royal at the northern tip of the Blueridge and will ride up onto the ridge as it is suppose to be a nice day abive 60F. Sunday we will drive further north to Gettysburg and spend 5 days cycling there before heading home May 5th. A special day!
It is suppose to be good weather next week and so will enjoy Gettysburg and the riding in the area. Lots of fruit orchards!
When do you go north with Ruth?
The last few days we have enjoyed seeing the dogwoods open up! They are a hard tree to photograph .. almost as hard as photographing snow falling!
