Today's route was east of Orange starting in the little village of Unionville - 10 minutes down the #20.
It was chilly and foggy this morning as we started out at 9C. All I could think of was Ray saying their cut off was 10C .. anything below and it was coffee and scones! Ah but the roads were so smooth and after an hour things started to warm up!
We skipped the detour up Clarks Mountain (no views!) but instead took the road up the smaller Mount Sharon off of Rapidan Rd. Very pretty! .. and the sun came out!
The descent was a bit rough but then we found the beautiful Kendall Rd! Smooth and rolling! Great way to end the day!
Tomorrow we leave Orange .. and we have a plan .. stay tuned!
