How did we get here? Well when we woke up this morning in Front Royal and looked at the weather in Gettysburg, we asked ourselves "why are we driving 2 hours North?"
So we did a U-turn and drove 2 hours south! At least any rain will be warmer!
Yesterday we road the Skyline .. got some nice pics .. and I had fun playing with colour hues!
Today we drove through a light drizzle but by noon it had started to lift and we were able to do a 50km ride into Madison. Oak Park Road was deserted and fresh pavement .. it was lovely!
Culpeper is hopping with restaurants! We had dinner outside and then found this interesting flowering bush!
We hear that the weekend in Ottawa is looking very nice and that a few brave souls have already cycled parts of the Gatineau Parkway!
We are here in Culpeper for 5 nights then on to Gettysburg .. honest!
