Actuality, we went around then into this lovely town via Alcaria reaching an altitude of 320m. (AL05b which came out to 58km and 800m ascent .. yes, it was up and down all day!)

S.B. Alportel is a very pretty town of around 10k people. They have an Easter parade of flowers every year. Finally we see some interesting architecture and sculptures!

The brass gentleman so reminds us of John Cooper .. can you picture John standing by this guy with an icecream cone? (Cobourg)

A great end to the day: Marion with icecream and Harold with a draft beer!

PS ... N2 route is longest road in Europe and often is the spine of many long distance cycling routes.
