An easy ride today through pastoral countryside with no hills to mention. A bit fresh this morning but warmed up by 10am.

We arrived in Sancoins just as the market vendors where packing up. If you have never seen these markets, you would be surprised how big they are and how much unpacking and packing they do to setup their stalls! It's amazing what they can pack in to those little white vans!

The Hotel du Parc is a very nice traditional French hotel off the busy town centre. We will walk down the street this evening for dinner in the Logis for 7:30 -- 2 pots (rating) so food should be good!

I grabbed some of Marion's pics from yesterday .. they are really good of the costumes! Each costume had a label/description saying what opera and character and opera house although I think they mostly came from Paris .. which I believe has 2 opera houses!

Everyone is talking about the rain expected for the weekend. They are desperate for rain as it has been so hot and dry. We may need plan B to get to Sancere on Sunday for our 5 night stay!
