We really enjoyed Sancoins last night! Great hotel and interesting agricultural town as you can see by the pics!

A very peaceful ride into Nevers this morning with a stop for coffee in Le Veurdre before crossing the Allier river probably for the last time. It merges with the Loire downriver from Nevers.

After the bridge we joined the D134 all the way to the Loire Canal bike path and followed it in to Nevers. A very quiet road and then a chip and tar bike path with a few cruise boats on our right charging up the canal.

We are in a very nice apartment for 3 days with a great route planned for tomorrow to   Saint Sulpice and back along the canal.

Although we want to see some sites here, the weather tells us to cycle Friday and maybe Saturday as there is alot of rain in the forecast for next week!
