Yesterday was a clear day but wind gust up to 70km/hr .. so we read our books and enjoyed our roof patio - somewhat protected from the wind!
Today we took another run at the MP12 route that we got rained on a few days back. We had perfect weather and a great climb up to the top of Puig Santa Llucia outside of Biniamar. Great views and a very quiet road!
Lunch in Lloseta then quiet roads to Selva. We climbed to the top of Selva and were surprised to see the locals having a festival!
Steep downs and a right turn in Moscari put us on narrow country lanes all the way to the base of the Puig Santa Magdalena. We quickly ran into a police road block telling us today was reserved for walkers. (Sunday or Sant Marco Day - not sure!)
No problem, we'll come back and do this one another time!
A tailwind brought us home recording 83km and 940m ascent. My Garmin GPS crashed twice today .. it's time for a new one .. maybe like Marion's! In track files on gpsana, use Marion's gps (source=g830ma).
Excellent tuna dinner with veggies back home after a beer in the square. Seems quiet in the square today.
Cheers
Harold and Marion
