Yes, we are down here until May 6th I think! Every time we look at the weather back in Ottawa, we are glad we are here despite the colder than normal rides!
Today it took it's time warming up to above 10C as the sun was slow coming out .. but it finally did by afternoon!
We are enjoying our apartment in Bridgewater, Virginia and it is close to all our favorite rides in this area.
We have friends that are in North Carolina riding and they are not too much warmer then us!
Tonight we are having flounder with a rice dish Marion made up. Tomorrow it's pork chops! It is nice to do our own cooking in these apartments!
Friday we drive South to Lexington where we have an apartment for 7 days and will likely meet up with some friends.

Dear Harold: Ruth and Murray left on their way home They were wondering where you were --inVirginia? I am afraid they found the light in the shower downstairs is on the blink so the next time you come that will need to be fixed I don'nt know what we would do without you! Earier this week we had some worrying news about Deb She woke up with chest pains and ended up in the Sudbury hospital for an angiogram on monday .Fortunately they found no blockages so we are all relieved. You perhaps remember her Mother had a seiouse heart condition and died not long after they were married so her history was a worry I think She might be home today. I am sure I will hear from Chris tonight They have a lochdown at Beas retirement home and I am not sure whether we can have our bridge there on the eighteenth of April I will talk to her tonight to see how widespread it is and whether we need to cancel. I had my six month check up with my dentist on monday and this time he found some suspected infection behind one of my two front teeth and so I have a ninety minuteappointment on the seventeenth next week to inspect it it may be expensive. I think he was wondering whether I could afford it when I asked him what He would do about it! Funny! If he doesn't investicate it now it could be very expensive so of course I told him to go ahead. When do you get home? Ruth was asking It must be another two weeks at least? Mary and Blair are coming this weekend to check out the cottage They will sleep here and bring fdinner and sunday Jenny will bring the chidren in She is coming in with them on friday because Emmaline has a morning apptment at ten thirty here in Peterboroigh. I must say I have a pain in my left hip these days I will have to discuss it with Chris I think thats all my news I did tell you that there is a lockdown at Beas retirement home --when I look up to see what I have written I can't see the first paragraph so I can;t remember what I have written any way all for now love Mother
